This Privacy Policy applies to all information that the platform "StarPets.gg", located at the domain www.starpets.gg, may obtain about the User during the use of the website, programs, and products.

1. Definitions

1.1.1. "Website Administration" — authorized employees managing the website, acting on behalf of StarPets.gg, who organize and/or carry out the processing of personal data, and also determine the purposes of processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, and actions (operations) performed with personal data.

1.1.2. "Personal Data" — any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable individual (data subject).

1.1.3. "Processing of Personal Data" — any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without automation tools on personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of personal data.

1.1.4. "Confidentiality of Personal Data" — a requirement binding on the operator or any other person who has access to personal data not to allow their distribution without the consent of the data subject or other legal basis.

1.1.5. "User" — a person who has access to the website via the Internet and uses the website.

1.1.6. "Cookies" — a small piece of data sent by a web server and stored on the User's computer, which the web client or browser sends to the web server each time in an HTTP request when attempting to open a page of the corresponding website.

1.1.7. "IP Address" — a unique network address of a node in a computer network built on the IP protocol.

2. General Provisions

2.1. The User's use of the website constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the terms of processing the User's personal data.

2.2. In case of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the website.

2.3. This Privacy Policy applies only to the website starpets.gg. The website does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites that the User may access via links available on the website.

2.4. The website Administration does not verify the accuracy of personal data provided by the User.

2.5. Payment is possible via bank cards Visa, MasterCard, Mir, or through payment systems including Apple Pay, and other supported methods. When paying by bank card, payment security is guaranteed by the processing center. Your confidential data required for payment (card details, registration data, etc.) is not transmitted to the website — their processing is performed on the side of the processing center and is fully protected.

3. Subject of the Privacy Policy

3.1. This Privacy Policy establishes the obligations of the website Administration regarding non-disclosure and protection of the confidentiality of personal data that the User provides at the request of the website Administration during registration or when placing an order.

3.2. Personal data authorized for processing under this Privacy Policy is provided by the User by filling out the registration form on the website starpets.gg and includes the following information:

  • User's first and last name;
  • Email address (e-mail);
  • First and last name obtained through social network authorization.

3.3. The platform protects data that is automatically transmitted during browsing and visiting pages:

  • IP address;
  • Information from cookies;
  • Information about the browser (or other program accessing the website);
  • Access time;
  • Page address;
  • Referrer (previous page address).

3.3.1. Disabling cookies may result in the inability to access parts of the website that require authorization.

3.3.2. The platform collects statistics on IP addresses of its visitors. This information is used to identify and resolve technical problems and to control the legality of financial transactions.

3.4. Any other personal information not specified above (purchase history, browsers and operating systems used, etc.) is subject to secure storage and non-distribution, except as provided in clauses 5.2 and 5.3 of this Privacy Policy.

4. Purposes of Collecting User Personal Information

4.1. The website Administration may use the User's personal data for the following purposes:

  • Identifying the User registered on the website for placing orders;
  • Providing the User with access to personalized website resources;
  • Establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications and requests regarding the use of the website, providing services, and processing requests and applications;
  • Confirming the accuracy and completeness of personal data provided by the User;
  • Creating an account for making purchases if the User has consented;
  • Notifying the User about payment status;
  • Processing and receiving payments, disputing payments;
  • Providing the User with effective customer and technical support;
  • Providing the User with access to partner websites or services for obtaining products, updates, and services.

5. Methods and Terms of Processing Personal Information

5.1. Processing of the User's personal data is carried out without time limitation, by any lawful method, including in personal data information systems with or without automation tools.

5.2. The User agrees that the website Administration has the right to transfer personal data to third parties, in particular payment systems through which the User made payment.

5.3. The User's personal data may be transferred to authorized state authorities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.

5.4. In the event of loss or disclosure of personal data, the website Administration informs the User of the loss or disclosure.

5.5. The website Administration takes necessary organizational and technical measures to protect the User's personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as other unlawful actions by third parties.

5.6. The website Administration, together with the User, takes all necessary measures to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User's personal data.

6. Obligations of the Parties

6.1. The User is obligated to:

  • Provide personal data information necessary for using the website;
  • Update and supplement the provided personal data information in case of changes.

6.2. The website Administration is obligated to:

  • Use the obtained information exclusively for the purposes specified in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy;
  • Ensure confidential information is kept secret, not disclosed without the prior written consent of the User, and not sold, exchanged, published, or otherwise disclosed, except as provided in clauses 5.2 and 5.3;
  • Take precautions to protect the confidentiality of the User's personal data in accordance with standard business practices;
  • Block personal data relating to the relevant User from the moment of request or inquiry from the User, their legal representative, or the authorized body for the protection of personal data subjects for the verification period, in case of detection of inaccurate personal data or unlawful actions.

7. Liability of the Parties

7.1. The website Administration that has failed to fulfill its obligations shall be liable for losses incurred by the User in connection with the unlawful use of personal data, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Estonia.

7.2. In the event of loss or disclosure of confidential information, the website Administration is not liable if such confidential information:

  • Became publicly available before its loss or disclosure;
  • Was received from a third party before its receipt by the website Administration;
  • Was disclosed with the User's consent.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1. Before filing a lawsuit regarding disputes arising from the relationship between the User and the website Administration, a claim (written proposal for voluntary dispute resolution) is mandatory.

8.2. The claim recipient shall notify the claimant of the results of the claim review in writing within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the claim.

8.3. If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be referred to a judicial authority in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Estonia.

9. Additional Terms

9.1. The website Administration has the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without the User's consent.

9.2. The new Privacy Policy takes effect from the moment it is posted on the website, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Privacy Policy.

9.3. The current Privacy Policy is posted at starpets.gg/privacy.

10. US State Privacy Rights

10.1. If you are a resident of certain US states (e.g., California or Colorado), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share;
  • The right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • The right to delete personal information we have collected;
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information;
  • The right to opt out of profiling and targeted advertising;
  • The right to appeal our decision if we deny your privacy request.

10.2. Opting out of sale, profiling, and targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information or engage in profiling that produces legal or significant effects. If we ever begin such activities, you will have the right to opt out. You may exercise your opt-out right by sending an email to: privacy@starpets.gg. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

10.3. Authorized representatives. You may authorize another person to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized representative must provide a signed written authorization from you and may be required to verify your identity directly.

10.4. Appeals. If you believe we have unreasonably denied your privacy-related request, you have the right to file an appeal by contacting us at privacy@starpets.gg with the subject line "Privacy Appeal".

11. Cookie Policy

11.1. Definition. Cookies are small pieces of data sent by a web server and stored on the user's device. They are used for the correct operation of the website, improving user experience, traffic analysis, and displaying personalized advertising.

11.2. Types of cookies used:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function and cannot be disabled;
  • Analytical cookies — help understand how users interact with the website (e.g., Google Analytics);

11.4. Third-party cookies. The website may use third-party services that place their own cookies, including but not limited to: Google Ads / Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook Pixel), Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads).

11.5. User consent. In jurisdictions where required (e.g., European Union, United Kingdom), a banner requesting consent for non-strictly-necessary cookies is displayed upon first visit. Continued use of the website without changing settings is considered consent.

12. Return and Refund Policy

12.1. Due to the nature of digital goods and instant delivery of in-game items, the website does not provide refunds after order completion.

12.2. Exceptions may be made in the following cases:

  • Duplicate purchases confirmed by payment logs;
  • Technical errors on the website's side preventing delivery;
  • Fraudulent transactions proven through internal investigation.

12.3. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.

12.4. To request a refund, the user must contact support at sp-admin@starpets.gg, specifying order details and reason for the request.

12.5. The Administration reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not meet the above criteria.
